About me

Hello there. I'm Nataleigh, a Transpersonal Psychotherapist based in London. I offer online therapy as well as in-person sessions in Camden Town and outdoor therapy in Regents Park. My therapeutic approach is compassionate and creative to help foster a deeper understanding of yourself. Many of us long for change in our lives yet it is scary to take the steps to make those changes. Reaching out for help means you don't have to go it alone and a willingness to make choices and take risks, even small ones, is essential for growth. I’ve worked in the field of mental health for over 20 years, previously as a social worker, lecturer, with the NHS and with survivors of sexual abuse. I specialise in supporting people with bereavement, family relationships, parenting, depression, life transitions and finding purpose and meaning.

My approach to individual therapy

Therapy can be a space to process your life story, how you got there and most importantly, where you may want to go next. It can help with untangling thoughts and emotions and be a regular practice of knowing yourself more deeply. The relationship between client and therapist can be a source of support and guidance as you navigate life. I place great emphasis on listening, trust and getting to know the whole person and what makes you unique. My relational nature offers a warm, thoughtful presence as we get to know each other and develop a therapeutic alliance. By reflecting on past experiences that can dominate the present we can become more aware of what blocks us and have more compassion for different parts of ourselves so we can move forward. My way of working can include breath work, meditation, movement, drawing and exploring dreams.

Our first individual session

Therapy is your space for self exploration and this starts with a commitment to carving out the weekly time. The first few sessions will be about getting to know you, what brings you to therapy and your history. We will be exploring what is important to you, at a pace led by you. I always welcome questions and will regularly invite you to check in how you're finding it. I aim to create a nurturing environment where we can safely explore, including bringing awareness to what you are feeling. When we tune in and listen carefully to our bodies inner wisdom it can help get to the root of things. I’m here to help you feel better and will be honest and real with you. I’ll meet you in your struggle with my own wisdom and experience. We’ll team up, fiercely and with compassion. There is also plenty of space for joy and laughter to have a place!
