About me

I know how daunting (but life-changing) starting therapy can be, sitting in a room with a stranger and sharing painful, often unexpressed feelings you've held for too long. That's why I adopt an informal and personable approach and tailor my therapy to each client's uniqueness. I am qualified, registered, and accredited by the industry's professional bodies. I am also committed to ensuring my work is informed by the most up-to-date research, so I can be of service to those I work with.

My approach to individual therapy

I believe therapy should be about working together with goal-setting and cultivating hope. I believe every client is unique and deserves individual care. I don’t sit in judgment or dictate to you, but offer a safe and confidential space to explore and express your feelings and what’s going on for you. I allow the opportunity for you to identify and break from harmful patterns you may have become locked into, enabling positive change and personal growth.

Our first individual session

It is standard practice for our first meeting to be an Initial Consultation. This allows me to learn about your family background, past experiences, and current situation. I strive to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere where clients feel safe and find relief in discussing their often complex personal histories, which many have carried for far too long.
